Just after you have been verified and greeted everyone else in the #introduce-yourself channel, you can pick your interests from the #welcome-to-w3st channel. The emoji selection made will assign guild-based roles stating your support and interest in such.
There is no right or wrong answer when choosing your interests
One of the first things we would suggest is to start wandering about the several channels whether those are generic or guild specific. Along with Discourse (mainly for proposals), discord gathers all the ongoing discussions and nuances of the community. Every single contribution is welcomed.
Regularly Onboarding sessions are being held on discord to get a full overview and introduction to the DAO, the main goals, the current relevant projects and the next steps. Such meetings allow a conversation with BOARD and CONTRIBUTOR members and orientate on matching the contribution wishes and skillset of the new members.
